Cadillac ATS V.R GT3 Race Car

Cadillac revealed last week the ATS-V.R race car which complies with the FIA GT3 regulations. The Cadillac ATS-V.R is powered by the 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, codenamed the LF4.R. According to Cadillac's official specifications, the ATS-V.R race car develops 600 hp and 704 Nm of torque. Unfortunately, Cadillac did not disclose the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of the ATS-V.R, nor its top speed. Cadillac equips the ATS-V.R with a new carbon fiber aerodynamic package that includes wider fenders, new front and rear bumpers and front splitter, a rear diffuser, side skirts, a modified hood and a huge rear wing. At the interior, the Cadillac ATS-V.R features a full roll cage, and racing seats.

The Cadillac ATS-V.R's equipment list includes BorgWarner turbochargers, more capable intercoolers, a carbon fiber air intake, a 6-speed Xtrac sequential transmission, Brembo brakes, a limited slip differential and an adjustable electronic traction control system.
