UK was hit on Monday by strong snowfalls that raised serious problems for the British motorists. Reportedly, the damage caused by snow crashes reached an estimated 60 million GBP. More than 10,000 incidents have been reported, with the average repair bill going up to 1,800 GBP. Some vehicles suffered damages that took as much as 30,000 GBP out of the owner's pocket.
However, not all accidents will have been reported yet. The final result of the snowfall will be known in around two weeks time.
The main cause of the crashes was speed and driving to close to the car in front.
