Various sources have released today two leaked images of the production version of the Citroen C-Cactus. Although poor in quality, the two Citroen C-Cactus leaked images can give us an idea about the exterior design of the future production diesel hybrid. The Citroen C-Cactus will be powered by the 1.4 HDi diesel engine coupled with an electric motor. The French carmaker is also investigating the possibility of an electric only Citroen C-Cactus.
The future production version of the Citroen C-Cactus will be a five-door hatchback, with roughly the same dimensions as the Dacia Sandero which most expect will be its main competitor. The headlights of the Citroen C-Cactus are designed following the same general lines as the ones on the new Nissan 370Z.
The production version of the Citroen C-Cactus is expected to go on sale in 2012, but the price is unknown at the moment.
