Bridgestone has released recently the first DeLaSalle electric car video which shows various aspects of its build process. The new video also shows views of the DeLaSalle electric car while riding along the highway, which means the new vehicle is also road legal. The DeLaSalle electric car was built by a team of students and teachers from the school with the same name in Kansas City, Mo. They were helped by engineers from Bridgestone who also provided the test grounds for the DeLaSalle electric car. The vehicle is based on the 2000 Lola Indy Car and is powered by a an electric motor than can offer an equivalent fuel consumption rating of 300 mpg.
