ECOmove, a Danish company, revealed this month the QBEAK electric car, which can offer between one and six individual seats. The ECOmove QBEAK measures 3 meters in length, 1.75 m in width and 1.63 m in height. The QBEAK weighs just 450 kg, without the energy modules, which have the potential of increasing this figure considerably. ECOmove's QBEAK comes with two sliding doors on each side, and a rear hatch that opens upwards. To power the QBEAK, ECOmove chose two electric motors, which output 35.4 kW (47 hp) each, for a total of 70.8 kW (95 hp). Taking into account its low weight, almost 100 hp could be just enough horsepower for city driving. The ECOmove QBEAK is rated with a top speed of 120 km/h and a maxim range of 300 km. The maximum range can be achieved by using six energy modules with 4.7 kWh each.
ECOmove did not announce the price of the QBEAK, but they do mention that the reservation fee is 270 EUR. The first QBEAK electric cars are going to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2012.
