A series of spy photos have revealed today that the German sportscar maker is working on an electric Porsche 911. In the recent time to company has grown more interested in protecting the environment and an electric Porsche 911 fits perfectly into this plan. They have already launched hybrid versions of the Cayenne and are working on a hybrid Panamera, so the technology is there. An electric Porsche 911, having its engine in the rear, means it has to have the battery pack in the front. This would probably bring more balance to the heavy reared 911.
What's strange about the electric Porsche 911 in the spy images are a number of body details, like a Batman logo on the hood and a lightning bolt graphic. This leads us to believe this may also be a joke.
