Ferrari revealed today a special edition version of the 458 Italia to mark its 20th anniversary on the Chinese market. Ferrari's Chinese special edition of the 458 Italia is going to be built in 20 units and it will have several distinctive features. Each 458 Italia will be finished in a new exterior color, which is called Marco Polo Red, and it will have Chinese elements. The carmaker is going to premiere the new special edition 458 Italia during the inauguration of the Ferrari Exhibition at the Shanghai Expo Park's Italian Center. The livery of the new 458 Italia is inspired by "longma" theme, which is an old idiom. It means "the vigor and spirit of the legendary dragon-horse". Ohh, we get it. Ferrari wants to combine its logo, the Prancing Horse, with the dragon, which is a Chinese symbol.
Apart from the distinctive exterior livery, and a few interior design elements, the new Chinese special edition of the 458 Italia comes with a set of golden wheels and a few other golden styling elements.
Ferrari did not announce the price of the new 458 Italia special edition, nor its availability.
