The world debut of the Ferrari 488 GTB took place today at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The Ferrari 488 GTB is powered by a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine that develops 492 kW (670 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 760 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm. With this powertrain, the Ferrari 488 GTB is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.0 seconds and from naught to 200 km/h in 8.3 seconds. Its top speed is rated at more than 330 km/h. The Ferrari 488 GTB measures 4,568 mm in length, 1,952 mm in width, 1,213 mm in height and it has a 1,370 kg dry weight. According to Ferrari's official specs, the 488 GTB comes with a weigh distribution of 46.5% front and 53.5% rear. In terms of efficiency, the Ferrari 488 GTB is rated with a 11.4 l/100 km fuel consumption and a 260 g/km CO2 emissions level.

The Ferrari 488 GTB is equipped with the side slip angle control system (Side Slip Control 2 – SSC2), which integrates the F1-Trac and E-Diff. Here are the full specifications of the 488 GTB. Ferrari did not disclose the price of their new model. The 488 GTB will probably go on sale in the near future and we suspect it will be followed by a Spider version too.
