Ferrari revealed recently a special edition version of the 458 Italia, which is dedicated to Formula 1 World Champion Niki Lauda. After watching Ron Howard's "Rush" movie, a Ferrari owner decided to ask the Prancing Horse to build him a special edition model of the 458, dedicated to Lauda. The "Rush" movie presents the rivalry between Niki and James Hunt. The Ferrari 458 Niki Lauda comes with a similar livery to the F1 cars of the 70s. The Niki Lauda 458 comes in red with a white roof, and the Italian flag going longitudinally across it. The 458 Niki Lauda is equipped with a set of gold wheels. At the interior, this special 458 features an Italian flag motif on the central tunnel and seats. LEDs have been fitted the steering wheel to indicate the gear shifts.

The Ferrari 458 Niki Lauda is the result of the Tailor Made personalization program and it has been developed in collaboration with a designer from the Maranello Style Centre. Its price has not been disclosed.
