Earlier today the Italian carmaker has announced that it set a new Ferrari 599XX Nurburgring record at 6 min 58.16 sec. The company has released the first Ferrari 599XX Nurburgring record video offering images from inside the cockpit shot during the attempt. The new GTO is based on the Ferrari 599XX and is powered by the same V12 engine. Ferrari hints at the fact that the GTO may not be far from the time achieved by the 599XX.
