The Italian aftermarket specialists from Novitec Rosso revealed today their new widebody kit and the latest power kit for the Ferrari F12berlinetta. The standard Ferrari F12berlinetta is powered by a 6.3-liter V10 engine that's good for 740 hp and 690 Nm of torque. Thanks to Novitec's new powerkit, the same engine puts out 781 hp and 532 pound-feet of torque. Even though the Novitec did not disclose the technical specifications of their new power package, we assume it includes a reprogrammed ECU and a modified exhaust. The power increase is not significant, but does allow the Ferrari F12berlinetta to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3 seconds and to reach a top speed of 217 mph.
Novitec's widebody kit for the Ferrari F12berlinetta is made of carbon fiber. It includes wider wheel arches, a more aggressive looking front bumper, side skirts, a re-styled rear apron with an integrated diffuser and a rear wing. Novitec's Ferrari F12berlinetta is also equipped with a modified hood.
Apart from the new widebody kit and a power package, Novitec also equips their Ferrari F12berlinetta with a set of 21-inch front and 22-inch rear forged alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires and a sport suspension, which reduces the supercar's ride height by around 40 mm. Novitec also fitted their F12berlinetta with a front lift system that raises the front axle by 40 mm.
Novitec did not disclose the price of their new mods for the Ferrari F12berlinetta, but they do mention they plan to build just eleven of them.
