The Hansen GT-R will be launched in 2007. Until then, the Dutch car manufacturer Hansen has released the details of its new Hansen GT-R track car.

FRAME

The mid section is a semi-monocoque with integrated roll cage. Aluminium, steel, honeycomb and composite materials are combined to provide low weight, high torsional stiffness and maximum safety. Front and rear sections are space frame constructions for easy access to driveline and suspension components.

BODY
Body panels made from carbon- and glass fibre

reinforced epoxy. Bonded laminated windshield. Front and back open completely for excellent accessibility. Front splitter, rear diffuser and flat bottom.
