The aftermarket specialists from JE DESIGN released today the details of their Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid upgrade program. JE DESIGN offers both a new aerodynamics package for the 2011 Touareg Hybrid, as well as a respectable power increase. JE DESIGN's Touareg Hybrid is powered by the standard 3.0-liter TSFI internal combustion engine, that has been upgraded to output 440 hp and 630 Nm of torque. In performance figures, the JE DESIGN Touareg Hybrid is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.9 seconds and has a top speed of 255 km/h. JE DESIGN prices their power increase kit at 3999 Euro, and for an additional 199 Euro is able to proved a two year warranty for the engine, the compressor, the transmission and the power train.
For VW's hybrid Touareg, JE DESIGN is offering a widebody kit, which includes a new radiator grill, a front spoiler, front and rear wheel arch extensions, a rear apron insert, a roof spoiler and a rear hatch blend.
Apart from the hybrid Touareg, JE DESIGN is also offering a power kit for the 3.0 TDI version of VW's SUV, which takes the output of the diesel version up to 285 hp (210 kW).
