The first images of the Jaguar XF Sportbrake leaked today, showing the estate version of the model for the first time. The world debut of Jaguar's estate XF will take place at the 2012 Geneva auto show. So far, its not clear if the vehicle you see in these images is a prototype or a production model. If the Jaguar XF Sportbrake is a production model, it will probably go on sale before the end of this year. Of course, its price is not known at the moment. Jaguar's XF wagon will be a serious rival for the BMW 5-Series Touring and the Audi A6 Avant. The XF Sportbrake could also grab some of Mercedes’ E Class Estate customers.
Judging from these two images, the Sportbrake XF will offer more than enough luggage space, all packed in a beautifully designed exterior shell.
Expect the XF Sportbrake to offer the same line-up of engines as the sedan, including the 187 hp 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine.
