The Australian manufacturers of the new supercar have released recently the Joss JP1 specs for the production model. The test car for the new Joss JP1 supercar has been unveiled quite some time ago, but the carmaker has just released a teaser image of the production Joss JP1, including its specifications. It seems the production Joss JP1 will be more powerful and faster than previously announced. The manufacturer also announced today the Joss JP1 price for the Australian market.

The final Joss JP1 specs say it will be powered by a an aluminum V8 engine developing more than 500 hp when run on 98 octane fuel. The engine of the Joss JP1 is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and the car is fitted with a custom exhaust system with twin catalytic converters.

The Joss JP1 supercar has a mid-engine rear-wheel-drive architecture and uses front radiators for cooling. The Joss JP1 is fitted with 6-piston brake callipers on the front and 4-piston ones on the rear and vented brake disks on all four corners.

The Joss JP1 supercar has a composite honeycombe sub-frame with carbon fiber body reinforced with Kevlar. It measures 4450 mm in length, 1860 mm in width and 1100 mm in height and has a 940 kg kerb weight.



The performance numbers say the Joss JP1 supercar can top 100 km/h in under 3 seconds and that it has a top speed of 340 km/h. The official Joss JP1 specs also say it can run a quarter mile in under 11 seconds, that it can generate 1.2 G in lateral force and 200 kg at 150 mph in downforce.

The Joss JP1 price starts at 500,000 AUS.
