Polaris Slingshot: Price, Specs, Equipment

Polaris revealed recently their new three-wheeler called the Slingshot. According to the specs released by Polaris, the Slingshot is powered by a 2.4-liter EcoTec engine developed by General Motors, Which develops 173 bhp at 6,200 rpm and 225 Nm of torque at 4,700 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission a carbon fiber drive belt and a rear-wheel-drive system. The Polaris Slingshot measures 149.6 inches in length, 77.6 inches in width, 51.9 inches in height and it has a 105-inch long wheelbase. Its official specifications say it weighs 1,700 lbs. The Polaris Slingshot has a 5-inch ground clearance and it's equipped with 18-inch wheels at the front and 20-inch wheels at the rear. The equipment list of the Polaris Slingshot includes LED rear lights.

It also features adjustable waterproof sport bucket seats with 3-point harnesses, a reverse tilt hood, a double wishbone forged aluminum suspension and electronic power-assisted steering with ESC. Polaris also equips the Slingshot with a 4.3-inch LCD, Bluetooth/USB connectivity, a 6-speaker sound system and a backup camera.

The Polaris Slingshot's price list starts at $19,999 and it goes up to $23,999.
