Zenos Cars, a company funded by Caterham's ex-boss Ansar Ali, revealed this week their first model, the E10 S. The carmaker revealed all the details of the Zenos E10 S, including its engine specs, price and equipment. According to the official specifications, the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine of the Zenos E10 S develops 250 hp at 7,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 2,500 rpm. With this engine, the Zenos E10 S is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.0 seconds. The car can reach a top speed of 135 mph (217 km/h). The Zenos E10 S is built using a carbon aluminum monocoque chassis and it weighs just 700 kg. The equipment list of the Zenos E10 S includes 16- front and 17-inch rear O.Z. alloys, huge brakes with 285mm discs, a Bilstein suspension system, and a roll-over cage.
The Zenos E10 S' price starts at 29,995 GBP. If you want the track version of the same car you're going to have to pay at least 32,995 GBP. The extra cash go into a limited slip diff, a 6-speed manual transmission, composite sport bucket seats with 4-point harnesses, a quick-release steering wheel, racing wheels, and an adjustable suspension.
