Top Gear has announced a worldwide audition for the position of co-host. What you have to do is send a 30-second (not more), clip of yourself. Apparently, this is real. Top Gear explicitly states that there should NOT be any dangerous activities involved. Top Gear's announcement actually says "your audition tape should feature no gimmicks, no stunts, and – most importantly – no cars, please. Just you, and you alone to camera, being enthusiastic and car-obsessed and, well...TG-ish." Frankly, this says it all. You have to be 17 or older, but this is the only limit. They don't care about your gender, or status, or if you're famous or not. The only thing that matters is for you to know about cars. The auditions start today and you have until July 20 to send your tape.
