Chris Evans to Replace Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear

Chris Evans to replace Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear? Jezza posted a story today on his Bookface page that says Chris Evans might take his place in the Top Gear team. Actually, it's a poll to see whether or not the TV show's fans would like that. Seriously BBC... Are you even considering doing this? We hope that this is just a new publicity stunt to attract more attention to the show. As if Top Gear is not popular enough already... Today, as we were going further down the rabbit hole with our investigation of this matter, we've discovered that BBC might actually be considering this change. Currently, Jeremy Clarkson is one of BBC's most popular presenters. Why would the network take his show away from him? This is just too peculiar!

Later today, Jezza posted on Twitter that this story is made up by the Mirror (a popular UK tabloid). However, as you know, there can't be smoke without a fire.

Let's hope that this is just a prank and a made-up story. You can't just replace Jeremy on Top Gear! Some things simply cannot be done. They might as well cancel the show altogether.

Chris Evans is also a BBC presenter. You might know him because in 2008 he bought what was, at the time, the most expensive car in the world. He spent 6.4 Million Euros on a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder formerly owned by US actor James Coburn.
