Top Gear Stig Revealed

Apparently, the identity of Top Gear's new Stig has been revealed again. According to the Daily Record, the person who is usually hiding behind the Stig's white costume is British Touring Car Champion Gordon Shedden. He is also the driver who recently tested Honda's 109 hp lawn mower. Honda developed the so-called Mean Mower in collaboration with the Top Gear Magazine. Gordon Shedden, 34, of Edinburgh, is nicknamed Flash. According to our sources, various fans saw clues that point to the fact that the man behind the white suit is Gordon. Stig's identity is one of BBC's closest guarded secret. We're not really sure why people keep trying to find out Stig's identity. He's, sorry, it is a myth. In any case, Stig is not "played" by just one person.

Top Gear is usually using several different drivers in their shows.

A couple of years back, a British magazine managed to bribe the driver who was posing as the Stig at that time. The person was Ben Collins, a racing driver who actually wrote a book about being the famous Stig. What did he gain out of it? Nothing! He just lost the best job in the world.
