Recently, this small Top Gear Season 17 spoof surfaced the web, showing a comparison test between two electric cars made out of cardboard. We're not really sure if there is any connection between the two guys that made this video, and Top Gear, but we have to admit, it's pretty funny. Called Top Gear Eco Special, the video takes a swing at electric cars, and especially at the Nissan Leaf and at the Peugeot iOn. The two electric cars have been tested for Top Gear Season 17. Jeremy Clarkson and James May have recently been caught on camera as they were testing the Nissan Leaf and the Peugeot iOn. Naturally, they ran into some trouble, as the Leaf ran out of electricity.
The 17th season of Top Gear will start on Sunday, June 12, 2011, on BBC2, at 8 PM GMT.
