Lamborghini revealed last weekend the new Veneno Roadster, which is priced at 3.3 million Euros, without taxes. The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is going to be built in just nine units and it's going to be available during the 2014 model year only. The roadster version of the Lamborghini Veneno is powered by the same 6.5-liter V12 that spits out 552 kW / 750 hp. According to Lamborghini, the Veneno Roadster is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 211 mph (355 km/h). The engine of the roadster Veneno is mated to a permanent all-wheel drive system and an ISR transmission. Just like the coupe, the Veneno Roadster is built on a racing chassis and it features a pushrod suspension and horizontal spring/damper units.

Lamborghini is going to build Veneno Roadster without any roof. They'll just fit it with a strong roll bar.

The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster weighs 1,490 kilograms (3,278 pounds), which means it has a power-to-weight ratio of 1.99 kg/hp (4.38 lbs./hp).

The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is basically a racing prototype built to be road-legal.

Its aerodynamics, drag and downforce have been optimized to the maximum. Lamborghini designed the Veneno Roadster to get the most downforce possible. Its front end works like an aerodynamic wing. The Veneno Roadster comes with a large rear diffuser, four central exhaust pipes. The rear vents are meant to help cool the engine compartment and to direct the airflow to the rear wing. The roadster Veneno comes with a larger adjustable rear wing too.

The Veneno Roadster has received a special set of wheels that feature carbon-fiber ring around the rim that helps better cool its carbon ceramic brakes.

Just as all the Lambos of the last years, the Veneno Roadster is built on a monocoque chassis made from carbon-fiber reinforced polymer and it features carbon body panels. Even though it is a racing car, the Veneno Roadster complies with all the safety regulations. It comes with airbags and an ESP handling system.

At the interior, the Veneno Roadster comes with Forged Composite bucket seats, a special upholstery made of woven carbon-fiber CarbonSkin.
