Lotus USA announced yesterday the availability of a Lotus Elise and Exige Supercharger that boosts the power of both naturally aspirated models. The Lotus Elise and Exige Supercharger kit also includes an integrated intake manifold, high-flow fuel injectors and a re-programmed ECU. The Lotus Elise and Exige Supercharger kit takes the power figures up from 189 hp and 133 lb-ft of torque to 218 hp and 155 lb-ft of torque. The maximum torque is now available from a lower 5,000 rpm rather than the standard 6,800 rpm.
The Lotus Elise and Exige Supercharger kit is available at all authorized dealerships and is legal in all the 50 states. The Lotus Elise and Exige Supercharger price has not been announced yet.
