The race is the 2005 Lotus Trophy race at Bathurst, the car is a Lotus Elise and the driver is Dean Evans.
Dean Evans starts the race in the 14th place and before he finishes the first lap he's in FIRST! Talking about some amazing driving...he smokes everything in his path. It's amazing the way he manages to avoid the 13 competitors and the wall at the same time. That was one crowded race track.
In the end Evans finishes on the 11th place, but he managed to lead the race for quite a long time.
