As announced at the end of last week, the Lotus Exos T125 track car has been unveiled over the weekend at the Monterey Motorsports Pre-Reunion. The company said the Lotus Exos T125 will be the ultimate track car, and they seem to be right. The Lotus Exos T125 is an F1 inspired track car, that not only looks like one, but also borrows some of its technology from one, which is powered by a Cosworth GPV8 engine. The Cosworth engine of the Lotus Exos T125 has been toned down to develops 650 hp. the unit is able to rev up until it reaches the 10,300 rpm red line.

The Lotus Exos T125 is also light as a feather, weighing just 650kg. After some simple math, you'll see the car has a 1000 hp per ton power-to-weight ratio. With this kind of power,

the Lotus Exos T125 will be quite the killer machine on the track.

The manufacturer says the engine of the Lotus Exos T125 can run for 4500 km before it will need a rebuild. They also have eliminated the need for a crew as the car is fitted with an electric starter motor.

Other goodies fitted on the Lotus Exos T125 include carbon ceramic brakes, a carbon fiber pushrod



suspension setup and a trick semi automatic transmission

If you think about rushing down to the dealer to get yours, the Lotus Exos T125 price might stop you in your tracks. The estimated Lotus Exos T125 price will be around 1 million USD. That’s right, a 1 followed by six zeros U.S. dollars, and the company says it will only build 25 of them.
