Maserati revealed today the GranCabrio Fendi special edition, which is the result of the collaboration between the two iconic "made in Italy" brands. Designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the new special edition GranCabrio will have its world debut where else, but at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto show in September 2011. The Fendi GranCabrio was developed at Maserati's HQ in Modena and comes with several distinctive features. It has a three-layered exterior finish, called Grigio Fiamma Fendi, which includes a special dark grey exterior paint with an iridescent golden finish.

At the interior, the Maserati GranCabrio Fendi features a Pergamena Fendi wood trim on the dashboard, door and gear lever, and various

logos. Maserati and Fendi covered the instrument cluster, as well as the gear lever and floor mats of the GranCabrio in Selleria leather.

The GranCabrio Fendi also features a set of 20 inch rims Trident design alloy wheels, a special logo on the rocker panel, and yellow brake callipers.

If you choose to buy a GranCabrio Fendi, Maserati will also throw in a Limited Edition Travel luggage and accessories set, as well as a special black car cover featuring a ton-sur-ton double F logo.

The Maserati GranCabrio Fendi price has not been announced yet, but expect to pay quite a premium over the standard version of the model.
