Maserati released today a huge image gallery of the GranCabrio Sport and also announced its price list and full specifications. Maserati's sport GranCabrio had its world premiere at the Geneva auto show this year and it designed by Pininfarina. It measures the same as the regular version, meaning 4881mm in length, 2056mm in width and 1915mm in height, and it weighs 1980kg. The Maserati GranCabrio Sport is powered by a 4.7-litre all-alloy V8 engine, without any turbocharging or supercharging, that develops 450hp (331kW) at 7000rpm and 510Nm of torque at 4750rpm.
With this unit under the bonnet, the Maserati GranCabrio Sport is able to get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.2 seconds and it has a top speed
of 285km/h. In terms of efficiency, Maserati's official figures say that the GranCabrio Sport offers an up to 22.5 litres/100km fuel consumption in the city, 9.8 litres/100km on the highway and 14.5 litres/100km in the combined cycle. It emits 337g of CO2 per kilometer.
The engine of the GranCabrio Sport is mated to a ZF six-speed automatic transmission that comes with the MC Auto Shift software. It also features an Skyhook active-suspension system, a revised exhaust, and various distinctive styling cues.
The Maserati GranCabrio Sport price list for the UK market starts at 102,615 GBP.
