Maserati announced today the Ghibli's price for the United States market, where it has received a 2013 Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS). The Maserati Ghibli S is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine developed by Ferrari, which has a horsepower output of 404 hp and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque. The power is set to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Maserati Ghibli is going to be available with both a rear-wheel-drive system and a Q4 all-wheel-drive system. The Maserati Ghibli S is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 175 mph (282 km/h). The entry level Ghibli is powered by the same engine, but it develops 345 hp and 500 Nm of torque.

The entry level Ghibli needs 5.5 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) and it has a maximum speed of 165 mph (266 km/h).

The Maserati Ghibli's price list for the U.S. market starts at $65,600 USD. Maserati is already accepting orders for their new four-door coupe.
