The Police force in Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan has received, for testing until March 2009, the first Mitsubishi i MiEV Police car. The Mitsubishi i MiEV Police car is a zero emissions electric vehicle with a top speed of 130 km/h.
Weighing just over 1000 kg, the Mitsubishi i MiEV Police car is powered by an electric motor that develops 47kW (64PS) and 180 Nm of torque.
We guess they won't do any high speed chases in this car.
