Recently a new 2012 Porsche 911 spy video surfaced the web, showing the future generation model wearing less camouflage than before. The appearance of the Porsche 911 changes very little from one generation to another, so a little camouflage is not what interest us. What's interesting about the 2012 Porsche 911 is what is hiding under its skin. Earlier rumors speculate that the 2012 Porsche 911 will be powered by either a 3.6-liter engine developing 365 hp and 295 lb.-ft. of torque or a slightly bigger, 3.8-liter engine, developing 415 hp and 325 lb.-ft. of torque.

The 2012 Porsche 911 will definitely be available with the PDK, double-clutch, seven-speed transmission and probably a number of performance

and handling improvements. For the purists, the 2012 Porsche 911 will also be available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The 2012 Porsche 911 will probably be a more fuel efficient vehicle than before. Rumors say it will have a Start/ Stop system and a brake energy recuperation system.

We'll have more details on the 2012 911 soon. Meanwhile, watch the new 2012 Porsche 911 spy video lower down this page.
