Oakley Design, tuning company specialized mostly on juicing up Porsches, has turned its attention to another supercar manufacturer, Ferrari, and especially to the 458 Italia. The Oakley Ferrari 458 Italia program offers both an increase in performance and update looks for the Prancing Horse model. The Oakley Ferrari 458 Italia is powered by the standard engine, but thanks to an updated ECU, the car develops 618 bhp and 567 Nm of torque.

The Oakley Ferrari 458 Italia comes with a new aerodynamics package including carbon-fiber front spoiler lip which adds an extra of 45kg of downforce on the front axle at 150mph (240km/h). In comparison to the standard Ferrari 458 Italia, the Oakley also comes with new carbon fiber air vents, side skirts, a new rear

diffuser and a rear spoiler with Gurney flap that adds an extra 25kg of downforce at 150mph. The Oakley Ferrari 458 Italia also comes with other various carbon fiber body parts from the engine cover to the roof panel.

To also save weight, the Oakley Ferrari 458 Italia features a custom titanium exhaust system with triple outlet pipes and no bypass valve that saves 30 kg.

The Oakley Ferrari 458 Italia sits on lightweight composite 20 inch OZ Racing wheels with 245/35ZR20 and 305/35ZR20 Pirelli Trofeo tires and comes with larger carbon-fiber air intake box, larger ram air feeds and larger diameter white silicon pipes.

The Oakley Ferrari 458 Italia is 65kg lighter than the standard model and the tuner rates it with a top speed of 330km/h and a 0 to 100 km/h/ acceleration time of 3 seconds.

The Oakley Ferrari 458 Italia price has not been announced yet, but the tuner says it will only

build it in five units, each wearing a unique number plaque.
