Pagani Huayra C9

According to the European trademark and patent office, HORACIO PAGANI S.p.A. has registered the name Huayra on 8 November 2010. This is a strong indication that the name of Pagani's future model, the one named C9 since now, could be the Pagani Huayra. The name Pagani Huayra is registered for vehicles and apparatus for locomotion by land, air or water. This is another point confirming that the future model will in fact be called the Pagani Huayra. Unless Pagani plans to launch two new models in the near future, that is. Unfortunately, no patent drawings of the Pagani Huayra have been submitted yet, so the various spy images of the model have to suffice at this point.

The Pagani Huayra is thought to be powered by a

6.0liter V12 engine from AMG developing around 700 hp and 737lb ft of torque. The Pagani Huayra will have a seven-speed automatic gearbox and a rear-wheel-drive system, obviously.

The Pagani Huayra will benefit, in terms of weight, from a carbon-titanium chassis and other carbon fiber parts. The electronics will be supplied by Bosh and the tires by Pirelli.

There are various speculations regarding the Pagani Huayra price.

Most of them revolve around the 900,000 Euros mark (1,143,990 USD).

Pagani has also released a Pagani Huayra teaser video which is available after the jump.
