Pagani Huayra Track Video

Finally, the Pagani Huayra hits the track. This video captures the event which took place on the Adria International Raceway. It shows detailed views of the new supercar, several laps, and it probably has the best engine sound quality we've heard so far. In case you're not yet familiar with the Huayra, it is the replacement model for Pagani's first hypercar, the Zonda.

The Pagani Huayra hides under its futuristic skin a 6.0-liter V12 bi-turbo engine developed by AMG that has a power output of 700 hp and 1000 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the wheels via a seven-speed sequential transmission.

The official specifications of the Huayra say it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in

just 3.3 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 370 km/h, which means the new supercar can get awfully close to the Veyron. The Huayra is just fast in a straight line. Pagani says it can also generate as much as 1.5 G during cornering.
