When buying a Cabriolet one of the biggest concerns is the protection level in the case of a roll-over accident. In a recent study conducted by the ADAC, The automobile club of Germany, the Peugeot 207 CC (Coupe Cabriolet) received the highest possible safety rating in the roll-over test. The ADAC Peugeot 207 CC roll-over rating backs up the five-star score awarded by the Euro NCAP.
To achieve this rating the Peugeot 207 CC is fitted with active roll-over protection bars. Other safety systems include ABS, EBFD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution) and EBA (Emergency Braking Assist) on all models. ESP is also fitted as standard on all GT versions. This is combined with a driver’s SMART front airbag, passenger SMART airbag, side/head airbags.
