Peugeot offers today a preview of one of their concepts for the 2012 Geneva auto show, called the 208 XY. The most striking feature of the Peugeot 208 XY, is one which will definitely get everybody's attention in Geneva: it features an exterior finish which changes color depending on the distance to the concept, and depending on the observer's position. Peugeot 208 XY's paint is called "Pulsion" and it features no less than sixteen coats of paint and lacquer. Apart from the concept's mesmerizing exterior, you have to take a look at its interior. It's nowhere near what Peugeot is offering on its current production models, in terms of design and quality. The Peugeot 208 XY's interior features a crimson leather upholstery, with various black accents, and a panoramic glass roof.

Peugeot's 208 XY concept sits on dual-effect 18-inch alloys, and comes with various exterior chromed accents. To power the 208 XY, Peugeot uses the 1.6-litre e-HDi engine, which is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The 208 XY concept is rated with an output of 115 bhp.

We'll have more images of the Peugeot 208 XY concept at the time of its unveiling in Geneva.
