Peugeot announced today the 3008 Hybrid4 price for the UK market, where the world's first diesel electric car is going on sale this month. The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4 is powered by a 2.0 liter HDi diesel engine and an electric motor, which together generate an output of 200 bhp and a massive 500 Nm of torque. The 3008 Hybrid4 is equipped with 4WD drive system, and a new transmission system that offers the choice of four driving modes: Auto, ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle), Sport and 4WD.
Peugeot's 3008 Hybrid4 has some very impressive efficiency figures. The official specs say it has a 74 mpg fuel consumption and a 99 g/km CO2 emissions level. This means that if you live in Britain and rive a 3008 Hybrid4, you won't have
to pay the road tax, nor the London Congestion Charge.
The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4 UK price list starts at £26,995 GBP for the 99g/km CO2 emitting version and at £28,495 GBP for the 104g/km of CO2 emitting model.
