The French carmaker has introduced today on the British market the Peugeot 308 GT 200 model which comes with the same engine as the RCZ. This means the Peugeot 308 GT 200 has under its hood a 1.6 liter THP, Euro 5 compliant, turbo engine that develops 200 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 202 lb ft of torque at 1,700 rpm. This is Golf GTI level of performance. The engine of the Peugeot 308 GT 200 is coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox and front wheel drive. The top speed of the Peugeot 308 GT 200 is rated at 140 mph and the manufacturer says its new model can jump from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds. The combined fuel consumption of the car is rated at 40.8 mpg and the CO2 emissions level at 159 g/km.
The Peugeot 308 GT 200 also comes with a
distinctive aerodynamics body kit which includes a carbon-fiber looking front bumper insert, a front skirt, a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and a rear spoiler. The Peugeot 308 GT 200 comes with twin chrome rear exhaust pipes and various badges that state its name.
The interior of the Peugeot 308 GT 200 features Sports seats, aluminum pedals, footrest and gear lever knob, leather sports steering wheel and various other accents.
