New Porsche 911 998 details have emerged today as the car was spied during winter testing in Scandinavia. The next 2013 Porsche 911 998 is expected to be premiered sometime in 2012 and will replace the newest version of the 911. In the pure Porsche tradition, the next 911 998 will look roughly the same as the current version, although the company's designers claim that all its panels have been re-designed. The 2013 Porsche 911 998 will be made from steel and aluminum and will keep some of the parts from the company's current models. These include the doors from the current cabrio version of the 911 and other components from the Cayman and Boxster.
The 2013 Porsche 911 998 will be longer and wider than the current version and will be available in
both all-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive. The RWD version will be equipped with a limited-slip differential.
The engine options offered by the 2013 Porsche 911 998 will probably be updated versions of the 3.6-liter and 3.8-liter units currently powering the model line-up.
