DP Motorsport presented today a new conversion kit that transforms a classic Porsche 964 from 1988 into a 911 RS 2.7, which was first introduced back in 1973. Called the DP 964 Classic RS, the new conversion kit includes a sports grey exterior finish with Indian Red styling accents, and a power increase from 250 hp to 280 hp. In comparison to the original Porsche 911 RS from the 1973, the new Porsche 964 conversion includes a modern suspension system, ABS, power brakes, power steering, a catalytic converter and an air conditioning system. Its transmission is also much smoother. The body kit offered with the DP Porsche 964 Classic RS kit includes a new hood, front and rear bumpers, fenders and side sills, the rear spoiler, and the lens covers for indicators and grill.

DP Motorsport is offering all the necessary adapters and brackets, and the polished stainless steel tailpipe.

The Porsche 964 911 RS conversion's price is set at EUR 6.828,00 (inc. VAT). DP Motorsport is also offering a Wide Conversion package to the 2.8 RSR. The Porsche 964 911 RS can be fitted with 7x17 ET55 front and 9x17 ET55 Fuchs alloys. There's also a power package, which includes a 100 cell catalytic converter and K&N Air filter, that increases the output of the Porsche 911 by 22kW (30hp). The power kit is priced at 2.618,00 Euros including VAT.
