The German press is announcing today that Porsche is working on a smaller version of the Panamera, called the Pajun. There's not much info available on Porsche's Pajun yet, but some speculations have been made. Apparently, the Porsche Pajun will share the engines of the Panamera. This means it will sport six and eight cylinder petrol units with power outputs ranging from 400 hp to 560 hp. As with the Porsche Panamera, the Pajun will also be put on sale with a 300 hp diesel engine and with a hybrid powertrain.
Our German sources believe the Porsche Pajun will be priced in the 60,000 EUR range.
With Porsche's new Pajun rumor, and taking into account the name of the 'baby' Cayenne,
the Cajun, a certain naming scheme pops out. It seems that Porsche is combining Cayenne / Panamera with Junior, to get the Cajun and the Pajun.
