According to Autozeitung.de we might be seeing, in the following years, a Porsche Panamera Coupe on our streets. In 2003, Porsche's own Dr. Wendelin Wiedeking said that in the following years Porsche will build a 2+2 coupe. Since then nothing else was said about the matter, until a few months ago when spy photos of the Porsche Panamera started surfacing all over the place. The Panamera that stars in those photos is a four-door vehicle.
The four-door Porsche Panamera will be available in showrooms starting from 2009.
According to Autozeitung.de, the Panamera Coupe is the Porsche that Dr. Wendelin Wiedeking was originally talking about.
The source also says that alongside the four-door Panamera a coupe version is also being developed.
The Porsche Panamera Coupe will be a high-performance sports car, rather than a comfortable vehicle. Having this idea in mind we think that the engineers will use light weight alloys and a choice of a not to big engine.
