Production MINI Paceman Spied

 »  »  »

The first images of the production version of the MINI Paceman surfaced the web. These so-called spy images have been released by Mini Cooper and they reveal everything about the new Paceman, except its rear end. Even though it's covered in camo tape, we do get a few hints about the Paceman's rear-end design. The Mini comes with a coupe-like profile, a rear hatch, which probably opens upwards, and LED tail lights. There probably isn't much difference between the production version, and the MINI Paceman concept revealed back in December 2010 at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Mini Cooper did not disclose a lot of details regarding the production Paceman. They do mention however, that it's going to be powerful and agile. The MINI Paceman is "not a ride fit for wallflowers".

The Paceman concept is powered by a 4-cylinder engine with an output of 211 hp and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque. The production version might keep this powertrain. We'll have additional information regarding the production MINI Paceman as soon as it is available.
