Range Rover Evoque Gets Massive Online Interest

Since its launch last week, the Range Rover Evoque received a massive online interest hitting the top spots in searches, YouTube and Tweeter. According to a recent report released by the manufacturer, the Range Rover Evoque launch party was watched online by 1.8 million viewers with 700,000 viewers in the first few hours.

After just 24 hours, Range Rover's YouTube channel was the most viewed one in the UK and remained on the second place all through this week. This medium generated an additional 65,000 views of the Range Rover Evoque launch party. The event that marked the unveiling of the Range Rover Evoque was hosted by Land Rover managing director Phil Popham, Victoria Beckham and Land Rover’s design director Gerry McGovern.

On the night of the launch, the 'Range Rover Evoque' term was the ten most tweeted terms in Britain and over 6400 wall posts were registered on Facebook.

On a quick survey of Google, the company's marketing team found 400 articles from established news networks, and in excess of 7000 blogs related to the new Range Rover Evoque.

“We’re delighted we were able to bring the Range Rover Evoque preview party to such a large online



audience” said Phil Popham, Land Rover managing director. “It’s vital that we reach the right audience online, and this was a breakthrough way to reveal a breakthrough car. The statistics show the enormous interest there is in the new Evoque and Range Rover as a brand.”

Aside from the massive online interest, the Range Rover Evoque also generated 10,000 expressions of interest in buying the new small SUV.
