SEAT Toledo Sport Edition

SEAT has launched a new Sport variation of its Toledo MPV. The new model - previewed at the London Motor Show last July - features an array of enhancements to boost on-road presence.

The new SEAT Toledo Sport employs parent company Volkswagen's reputable 2-litre 138bhp TDI turbodiesel mated to the DSG transmission for a more sporting drive. SEAT claims this combination enables the Toledo Sport to complete sprints to 62mph in 9.9 seconds and attain a top speed of 125mph. But despite these performance figures, the carmaker also claims 47.1 mpg fuel economy in the Combined Cycle and CO2 emissions of 162g/km.

According to the SMMT, an increasing number of new car registrations are for black cars, catching up on the more popular silver colour. SEAT claims black will surpass silver as the preferred colour choice for 2007 so it is offering the new Toledo Sport solely in 'Black Magic' metallic paint. A full body-kit and elegant, but understated 18-inch BBS alloy wheels complete the visual transformation to the exterior.

The cabin of the SEAT Toledo Sport Edition is also equipped with more luxurious appointments,

including leather-trimmed seats (heated in the front), dual-zone climate control, an MP3-compatible CD audio system with steering wheel-mounted controls, integrated Bluetooth hands free phone connection, cruise control, four dark tinted electric windows and rear parking sensors. ESP and rain-sensing automatic wipers are also fitted as standard equipment.

The SEAT Toledo Sport is currently available at your local dealer for £18,995.
