Scion released today a video which teases a new future concept. Except for the short clip, The company did not reveal any other details regarding this new concept, so we'll have to fill in the blanks. It looks like the Toyota / Subaru co-developed model will get a third version, branded Scion. Many believe that the new concept teased by Scion today will actually be the so-called Toyobaru with a different skin.
If this is the case, than Scion's new concept will have a front-engine rear-wheel drive architecture and it will be powered by a Subaru-developed boxer engine.
In terms of design and judging from Scion's teaser video, the new concept just as extreme as it's brother, the Toyota FT-86 II.
Apparently, inside sources say that the new concept might be called the "Front-engined Rear-wheel drive Sports car", or the FR-S, but this is only speculation at the moment.
Scion will premiere their new concept at the 2011 New York Auto Show on April 20th at 1:40 PM EDT.
