Scion C HR Concept Debuts In LA

 »  »  »

The Scion C-HR concept had its world debut today at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. The name of the Scion C-HR concept translates to "Compact size and High Ride height". From the looks of it, the production version of the Scion C-HR aims to become a competitor for the Nissan Juke. Toyota has already confirmed that the production version of the Scion C-HR is going to be unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show next March. The Scion C-HR comes with four doors and a hatch and it will probably offer four seats. The exterior design of the C-HR concept is inspired by a diamond with sheered sides, while its interior looks like a precision-cut gemstone. The Scion C-HR is built on Toyota's New Global Architecture (TNGA). This means it has a low center of gravity, increased body rigidity, more responsive handling and improved ride comfort.

The C-HR sits on 21-inch alloys.

So far, Scion did not mention anything about the engines that are going to power the C-HR concept. However, Toyota announced more technical specifications about the Scion C-HR are going to be available when the production version is going to be ready.
