Scion FR S At 2012 SEMA

 »  »  »

Scion announced today that it’s going to present three modified FR-S show cars at the 2012 SEMA show, which is going to take place in Las Vegas at the end of this month. Unfortunately, apart from these images, Scion did not disclose any details regarding the FR-S concepts. The bespoke sport cars have been built as part of the Scion FR-S Tuner Challenge, initiated by the brand a while back. All three Scion FR-S show cars have special body kits on them, but the most spectacular of them by far is the black one. It's most definitely a track vehicle, featuring a wide body kit and a massive rear wing. Judging by the aerodynamic parts of this Scion FR-S, we feel like we're looking at a GT3 race car, or a DTM one.

The other two Scion FR-S concepts are not as dramatic in appearance as the previous one. However, we must say that an interesting styling touch is the side exhaust seen on one of them.

We'll have more details on the FR-S concepts Scion is going to premiere at SEMA in a few days.
