The Startech Range Rover Evoque was revealed today, ahead of its debut at the 2011 Dubai International Auto Show. Many of you may not know this, but Startech is in fact a branch of Brabus, the uber-famous Mercedes specialists. Contrary to what you would expect from Brabus, the Startech Range Rover Evoque program is currently a styling kit only. Startech's power kit for the 2.0-liter SI4 gasoline engine is in its final stages of development at the moment.
Startech's aero kit for the Range Rover Evoque includes a new front fascia, with large air vents, which was developed in the wind tunnel. Startech says that the new front spoiler of the Evoque is able to increase the downforce on the front axle.
At the rear, the Startech Evoque features a new bumper with an integrated diffuser, a roof spoiler, and a set of very interesting tail pipes. The Startech Evoque can be equipped with 21- or 22-inch light alloy wheels, which feature a dark finish. Startech's Evoque also features a new suspension system, which lowers its ride height by up to 35 mm. This improves handling and has the potential of increasing cornering speeds.
For the interior of the Evoque, Startech is offering a sport steering wheel, aluminum pedals, new footrests and a shifter. The crossover also features a leather and Alcantara upholstery, and various carbon fiber styling accents.
