Yesterday in the F2 race at Brands Hatch, Henry Surtees, the 18 year-old son of 1964 world champion John Surtees, died after complications cause by a crash. One of the other racers hit the barrier and one of the wheels on his car went flying over the track. The wheel hit Henry Surtees in the head and he lost consciousness. He crashed his F2 race car at top speed but managed to get out on his feet. Later he was taken to hospital because of his head injuries where he died.
