In one of their latest videos, the journalists from Autocar put the new 2009 Ford Focus RS against its ancestors, the Mark I 2002 Focus RS and the Ford Escort RS Cosworth from 1992. The new 2009 Ford Focus RS is priced from 25,000 GBP and comes with a 5 cylinder 2.5-liter engine that sends 305 hp and 324 lb.-ft. of torque to the front wheels. With a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.9 seconds, the 2009 Ford Focus RS can manage a top speed of 163 mph.
